Overview
Switchgear & Protection
Garg Electricals supplies switchgear and protection devices from 16 A to 1000 A for industrial power distribution, utilities and buildings. We are a switchgear dealer in Udham Singh Nagar and carry Havells, Legrand, SHI, L&T, Siemens, Schneider Electric and C&S Electric, so you can match a make already installed in your plant or follow the approved list on a project specification.
Final distribution is covered by MCBs, RCCBs and RCBOs in single to four pole configurations, housed in SPN and TPN distribution boards. For feeders and incomers we supply MCCBs with thermal-magnetic or microprocessor releases, air circuit breakers, switch-disconnector-fuse units with HRC fuses, isolators and manual or automatic changeover switches for mains and DG supply.
Choosing a breaker means matching rated current, breaking capacity (kA) at your fault level, the trip curve or release setting, and discrimination with upstream devices. If you send us the panel GA or single-line diagram, our team can prepare a make-wise bill of material for comparison.

FAQs
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between an MCB, RCCB and RCBO?
An MCB protects against overload and short circuit. An RCCB detects earth-leakage current and protects people from shock, but does not protect against overload. An RCBO combines both functions in one device.
Which MCB curve should I use, B, C or D?
B curve suits resistive loads and lighting, C curve suits general commercial and small motor loads, and D curve suits loads with high inrush such as transformers, welding sets and large motors.
When should I use an MCCB instead of an MCB?
MCBs are generally limited to 63 A or 125 A with lower breaking capacity. Above that, or where higher fault levels and adjustable protection settings are needed, an MCCB is the right choice.
Can you supply matching distribution boards for the breakers?
Yes. We supply SPN and TPN distribution boards and enclosures to suit the breaker make and pole configuration you choose.
