Cable Accessories
A cable installation is only as reliable as its terminations. Garg Electricals supplies the cable accessories that go with every cable order, so you can buy the cable, kits, glands and lugs together and not discover a missing item on site.
For HT networks we supply heat-shrink and cold-shrink termination and straight-through jointing kits for XLPE cables from 3.3 kV to 33 kV, in indoor and outdoor versions. LT jointing kits cover 1.1 kV PVC and XLPE cables for repairs and long runs.
Panel and field work needs brass cable glands (single and double compression), copper, aluminium and bimetallic lugs, ferrules, cable ties and markers. For routing we supply perforated, ladder and raceway cable trays with fittings and supports.

Frequently asked questions
How do I select the right termination kit for an HT cable?
You need the system voltage (for example 11 kV), whether the system is earthed or unearthed, the number of cores, the conductor size, and whether the termination is indoor or outdoor. Share these and we will match the kit.
When should I use a double compression gland?
Double compression glands seal on both the inner and outer sheath and clamp the armour, so they are the usual choice for armoured cables in industrial and outdoor locations.
Do you supply bimetallic lugs for aluminium cable on copper busbars?
Yes. Bimetallic (Cu-Al) lugs avoid galvanic corrosion where an aluminium conductor terminates on a copper busbar or terminal.
